At NOVA DIVE CENTER BALI we have two of our own fully-equipped boats. Allow us to safely and comfortably guide you to our Snorkel spots. Of course, we also have staff that can communicate fluently in English so you can relax and enjoy your diving experience.
Main Snorkel sites
- Sanur
- A nostalgic dive at a relaxing resort
- Sanur is one of the best beach resorts on Bali Island. Our NOVA DIVE CENTER BALI shop is located here. It has a unique, relaxing atmosphere, and you can watch the local children playing on the wide, open beach. You can also see the local people in traditional clothing performing religious ceremonies on the beach−another reason people love this area.
- Tulamben
- Fish paradise! Explore the shipwrecked USS Liberty
- Tulamben is located on the East-Northeast area of Bali Island and is a spot that is especially popular with snorkeler. The current is not strong, so snorkeler can enjoy snorkel here. It’s also famous for the USS Liberty wreck and the large numbers of fish that dwell in the ship and the area around it. People from all over the world come here with hopes of photographing the wreckage and the beautiful fish.
- Padang Bai
- Everything in its natural state. A soothing, slow dive.
- Padang Bai is a rustic town with very few Japanese people. On the wide sandbar covered with white sand, you will find sea turtles swimming leisurely through the water, sharks resting in the large coral reefs, and many fish in their natural habitat. It’s a town with lots of nature where you can relax and soak up the local atmosphere. We recommend coming to Padang Bai for a slow, snorkeling and a chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
- Amed
- Beautiful soft coral. A peaceful wall dive.
- Amed is a small colony found on the eastern edge of Bali Island. It is a town of fishermen and salt farms. It’s famous for the beautiful coral reefs you can see when snorkeling. The villas and diving shops on the steep slope along Amed’s coastline make for a lively and colorful landscape. The water is shallow and the current is gentle.
- Lembongan
- Crystal clear water. A wild resort running on island time.
- Lembongan is a small island visible from Sanur. With a population of 5,000 people, life in the rustic fishing village runs on island time. The coral reefs and mangrove forests will give you a chance to really enjoy nature. Alongside Nusa Penida, Lembongan is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches with stunning, crystal clear waters.
- Nusa Penida
- Come across a manta ray or sunfish! Large panoramic dive.
- Nusa Penida is the major dive site on Bali Island. You will be surrounded by coral and tropical fish as far as the eye can see. It’ll make you say, “This is what I call a southern tropical island!” The chances of seeing manta rays are great all year round and if you’re lucky, you might be able to see some sunfish too. Late-July to mid-October is the best season to run into a sunfish.
