- Sanur
- A nostalgic dive at a relaxing resort
- Sanur is one of the best beach resorts on Bali Island. Our NOVA DIVE CENTER BALI shop is located here. It has a unique, relaxing atmosphere, and you can watch the local children playing on the wide, open beach. You can also see the local people in traditional clothing performing religious ceremonies on the beach−another reason people love this area.
- Tulamben
- Fish paradise! Explore the shipwrecked USS Liberty
- Tulamben is located on the East-Northeast area of Bali Island and is a spot that is especially popular with divers. The current is not strong, so divers of all levels can enjoy diving here. It’s also famous for the USS Liberty wreck and the large numbers of fish that dwell in the ship and the area around it. People from all over the world come here with hopes of photographing the wreckage and the beautiful fish.
- Padang Bai
- Everything in its natural state. A soothing, slow dive.
- Padang Bai is a rustic town with very few Japanese people. On the wide sandbar covered with white sand, you will find sea turtles swimming leisurely through the water, sharks resting in the large coral reefs, and many fish in their natural habitat. It’s a town with lots of nature where you can relax and soak up the local atmosphere. We recommend coming to Padang Bai for a slow, soothing dive and a chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
- Amed
- Beautiful soft coral. A peaceful wall dive.
- Amed is a small colony found on the eastern edge of Bali Island. It is a town of fishermen and salt farms. It’s famous for the beautiful coral reefs you can see when diving or snorkeling. The villas and diving shops on the steep slope along Amed’s coastline make for a lively and colorful landscape. The water is shallow and the current is gentle. It’s easy to enter and a good site for “macro” diving. Divers of all levels can enjoy scuba diving here.
- Lembongan
- Crystal clear water. A wild resort running on island time.
- Lembongan is a small island visible from Sanur. With a population of 5,000 people, life in the rustic fishing village runs on island time. The coral reefs and mangrove forests will give you a chance to really enjoy nature. Alongside Nusa Penida, Lembongan is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches with stunning, crystal clear waters.
- Nusa Penida
- Come across a manta ray or sunfish! Large panoramic dive.
- Nusa Penida is the major dive site on Bali Island. You will be surrounded by coral and tropical fish as far as the eye can see. It’ll make you say, “This is what I call a southern tropical island!” The chances of seeing manta rays are great all year round and if you’re lucky, you might be able to see some sunfish too. Late-July to mid-October is the best season to run into a sunfish.
- Menjangan
- Enjoy mother nature! Go on an adventurous dive in the hidden parts of Bali
- Menjangan is a small uninhabited island floating in the western part of Bali. It is a part of the West Bali National Park. You can enjoy Mother Nature in the wild here where the reefs have been left untouched. Here the current is also tame, and the water is pristine, allowing divers of all levels to enjoy scuba diving here. Join us for an adventurous dive in Bali’s hideaway, Menjangan.
- Candidasa
- Best for intermediate to advanced divers! This is your chance to meet big fish.
- Here you will have the opportunity to encounter large fish like reef sharks and sunfish (late-July to mid-October). With drop offs and caves, we recommend this spot for divers who love interesting geographical features. The current can get strong at times, so this spot is most suitable for intermediate to advanced divers

Fun Diving
Bali Diving with adventure, relaxation, and rich nature
Fun diving is a course for those who have taken courses offered by a diving organization and are licensed (C card) to dive. The places where you can dive and the depths you can dive to increase greatly once you are licensed.
From “wide” to “macro” diving, boat entry to beach entry, there are many ways to enjoy diving in Bali. At NOVA DIVE CENTER BALI we will guide you to places that only locals know and help you find sea creatures that are rare or can only be seen in certain seasons. Apart from day trips, we also offer diving safaris, so please don’t hesitate to inquire.
Trial Dive
Lots of allure for beginners as well. Go on a fulfilling dive in paradise.
This course is geared toward first-time divers who are not licensed but would like to give scuba diving a shot. It’s a waste to come to Bali and not try scuba diving! Our highly experienced instructors will take you on a shallow, picturesque dive perfect for the day’s conditions. Are you worried about whether or not you can swim? Have you been snorkeling but are hesitant to dive in deeper waters? We keep our groups small and offer lots of support so please be rest assured and register now! A whole new world will open up right before your eyes.
PADI Course
Get licensed in the perfect location
Here at NOVA DIVE CENTER BALI we are authorized to issue PADI licenses−more than 60% of the world’s divers are PADI licensed. After completing a 3-day course, you can plan your own dives around the world and enjoy diving to the fullest. Our veteran instructors will give you proper support offering detailed, personalized care and advice. Please don’t hesitate to inquire about our PADI course. Once you get a license, you’ll want to go on dive after dive. By all means, get PADI licensed in one of the world’s best places to dive.

Senior Discount
NOVA DIVE CENTER BALI offers full support to ensure that senior citizens can also safely enjoy diving. For those who are unsure we ask you to first try our trial diving course to experience the fun and wonder diving can bring. If it seems like something you will continue to enjoy, we encourage you to get licensed. Even if you don’t get the hang of it right away, get some more training, build your experience and knowledge, and let your worries gradually slip away.
